How does the JB Day Tripper rental work?
The JB Day Tripper package is designed specifically for same-day returns from Johor Bahru. Collect your vehicle early morning from our Northpoint City location, enjoy your day in JB, and return the same evening. The package includes full insurance coverage in Malaysia, GPS navigation with JB maps, and optional Touch 'n Go card provision for toll payments.
What happens if I have vehicle issues in Malaysia?
Our emergency support extends throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Contact our 24/7 helpline and we'll coordinate roadside assistance or replacement vehicle arrangements. Can I collect the vehicle outside business hours?
We offer early morning pickup from 7:00 AM for customers planning dawn border crossings to avoid congestion. Advance booking is required for early collection. Standard operating hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Late returns can be arranged with prior notice for monthly commuter packages.
Are child seats available for family rentals?
Child seat installation is available at no additional charge for our Northern Family Van rentals when requested during booking. We accommodate infant seats, toddler seats, and booster seats based on your children's ages and weights. Our staff provides proper installation guidance and safety checks before departure.
What fuel policy do you follow?
All vehicles are provided with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. Fuel prices differ between Singapore and Malaysia, so we recommend refueling in Malaysia before crossing back. Our pre-trip briefing includes information about convenient petrol stations near the border crossing points.
How much does insurance coverage cost?
Comprehensive insurance including Malaysia coverage is included in all our rental rates. There are no hidden charges or additional fees for cross-border insurance. Coverage includes collision damage waiver and third-party liability throughout Singapore and Peninsular Malaysia.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. A security deposit is required at vehicle collection and will be refunded after return inspection confirms no damage. Monthly commuter packages can be paid via monthly GIRO arrangements for regular customers.
